Troubadour Duet

Standard Troubadour, ebonized finish with delrin buttons
The instrument
The Troubadour is a handmade 36 key hybrid Wicki/Hayden duet concertina, designed and built by the Concertina Connection. It is the "first tier" duet model of our Intermediate class.

It is a "no frill" duet concertina with a clear sound and great dynamics. It features all wood construction, brass riveted and bushed rod action, leather bellows, amplifonic reedpans, and either solid Delrin buttons, or traditional metal capped buttons.
The Troubadour is a hybrid concertina, featuring accordion type reeds rather than traditional concertina reeds. Accordion type reeds are a high quality economical alternative to traditional concertina reeds. The Troubadour measures 6 1/4 inch across the flats and is available with black ebonized ends.
