Order form
Please follow the instructions below to place an order.
Ordering a handmade concertina requires some communication. There are many variables that need to be selected and questions asked. Because of this, we prefer an email rather than an order form. Please email us your order and questions following the outline below.
We require a $200 deposit with an order. After we've received the order information and deposit, your instrument will be added to the shoplist.
The first step is the selection of the wood and other materials. After this is completed, your instrument will be added to a 'build group', which consists of 4-6 hybrid concertinas.
For custom models (Clover, Peacock, Rose Custom) We require a first installment of $1250 when the instrument is added to a group. Build groups overlap, we usually have several intermediate class groups being built at the same time.
The current lead time is around 20 weeks. When your instrument is finished, you will receive an invoice with the balance due. After we've received your trade-in concertina and payment, we will ship your new concertina to the address you provided.

Anglo models layout
Standard Anglo layout is Wheatstone C/G
- Minstrel anglo: Wheatstone or Jeffries layout. (both with Wheatstone rake*)
- Clover Standard and Clover Custom: Wheatstone or Jeffries layout. The Jeffries layout is available with Wheatstone or Jeffries rake (Rake is the slant of the button rows. The Jeffries rake is steeper than the Wheatstone rake).
- Minstrel anglo: Wheatstone or Jeffries layout. (both with Wheatstone rake*)
- Clover Standard and Clover Custom: Wheatstone or Jeffries layout. The Jeffries layout is available with Wheatstone or Jeffries rake (Rake is the slant of the button rows. The Jeffries rake is steeper than the Wheatstone rake).
Duet models layout
Standard Duet layout is Wicki/Hayden bi-directional
- Troubadour, Peacock Standard, and Peacock Custom are all available with Uni-directional or Bi-Directional keyboards
- Troubadour, Peacock Standard, and Peacock Custom are all available with Uni-directional or Bi-Directional keyboards
Finish
- Minstrel, Troubadour, and Busker are only available in Ebonized finish.
- Standard Clover, Peacock, and Rose are available in Natural or Ebonized American Cherry.
- Custom Clover, Peacock, and Rose are available in French polished Walnut, Padouk, or Maple.
- Standard Clover, Peacock, and Rose are available in Natural or Ebonized American Cherry.
- Custom Clover, Peacock, and Rose are available in French polished Walnut, Padouk, or Maple.
Buttons
- Minstrel, Troubadour, and Busker models: Standard delrin buttons or Metal capped buttons.
- Clover, Peacock, Rose, both Standard and Custom models are available with domed or flat top metal capped buttons.
