The Busker is a 36 key (+air button) hybrid english concertina, designed and built by the Concertina Connection. It is the "first tier" english model of our Intermediate class.
The Busker is a "no frills" reliable English concertina with a clear sound and great dynamics. It features all wood construction, brass riveted and bushed rod action, leather bellows, amplifonic reedpans, and either solid Delrin buttons, or traditional metal capped buttons.
The Busker is a hybrid concertina, featuring accordion type reeds rather than traditional concertina reeds. Accordion type reeds are a high quality economical alternative to traditional concertina reeds. The Busker measures 6 1/4 inch across the flats and is available with black ebonized ends.
