The Custom version of the Clover is a 30 key C-G hybrid (with accordion type reeds) anglo concertina, designed and built by the Concertina Connection Inc.. The instruments measures 6 1/4 inch across the flats.

Our Custom Hybrid Clover bridges the gap between the standard Clover and the Wakker traditional models.

The design and size are identical to the standard Clover, but the materials used (tone woods, hide/bone glues, french polished finish), are the same as used in the Wakker traditional models. 

The use of tonal woods, selected for their distinct filtering or amplifying characteristics, allow for sound customization.
The protein glues and french polish allow for unresticted soundwave travel through the instrument without glue barriers or a constrictive 'wrap' finish.  The result is a hybrid concertina with an exeptional degree of tonal refinement.
